Behind Le Châle Bleu hides Ania Axenova, a passionate illustrator whose love for drawing and for reading led to the creation of the brand of silk carrés, shawls, bandanas and other scarves, all telling stories. That's why every Le Châle Bleu creation - drawn entirely by hand - is accompanied by a short tale written by Ania.
ABOUT LE CHÂLE BLEU
This desire to tell stories is reflected in another of Le Châle Bleu's distinctive traits: its illustrations remain “readable” even when worn, making each piece much more than a simple "painting-scarf". The artist imagines and constructs each design with future foldings in mind, which is also why the design runs around its frame. So no matter how you fold your scarf, nothing is ever upside down, making your accessory a living tale, a story-to-wear.
The Moon Butterfly story told by Ania for the Le Châle Bleu x Gaâla collaboration is a colorful ode to femininity and lightness, but also to courage and the pursuit of stars.

“Once upon a time there were Butterflies. Our story begins at the dawn of time, when the world was young and everything, absolutely everything was still possible.
