This dress is so beautiful! It fits like a glove, it looks so elegant and I got so many compliments while wearing it. The petticoat adds volume and helps with the silhouette as well, but the dress can be worn on its own too. Totally recommended for a classic vintage or elegant look.

Les articles fabriqués sur commande sont expédiés dans un délai de 3-5 semaines à compter de la date de votre commande. Un article sur commande est un article qui n’est pas en stock et qui n’a pas encore été produit.

The Bardetta dress is one of my favourite dresses from Gaala. I originally bought it in raspberry colour. I bought it in size S. The fit is a bit tight, so if you are in between sizes, I recommend sizing up. It is a high quality, beautiful linen dress. It is nice to wear for everyday or for special occasions.
I wore the cream version of this dress for my wedding and it was gorgeous! I was quite worried about sizing since I have a 33" bust and a 27" waist, so between XS and S in the size chart. I ended up going with the S and it was indeed very loose in the bust, but I was able to make it work with just a push-up bra and some fashion tape rather than actual alterations. The S was probably the right call -- it was pretty tight in the waist (but still comfortable), so I doubt the XS would have fit me. The fabric had some imperfections/pilling, but that's perhaps not too surprising with natural fibres and it didn't show up in our wedding photographs. I can't speak to the longevity of the garment since it's not a daily wear item for me, but it ironed easily and cleaned up well. I definitely felt beautiful wearing it. Thanks Gaâla!

La robe est absolument parfaite et attire tous les regards. J’ai choisi la couleur "Plum". La commande et la livraison se sont bien déroulées et tout était emballé avec beaucoup d’amour. La qualité est très bonne et le confort de port est excellent (le tableau des tailles correspond à la réalité). Dommage que la robe n'ait pas de poches, mais en tout cas, cela n'enlève rien à son charme :)

Very beautiful I liked the dress so much that I decided to buy it in plum color as well. It is very beautiful and the fabric is thick, nice quality. The dress fits nicely and the petticoat makes you feel like a princess :) I would just say that the size tends to run a bit small on the chest part, otherwise it's all good

I ordered size L/40 and to be honest I think the fact that size 40 (I am really 38/40) is considered large is unhelpful. The sizes here run very small . That being said 40 fit my waist and breasts really well but it was a bit loose/gapey at the neck/shoulders..I took it to a local tailor and they made it perfect for me so now I am so happy with it. It's such a beautiful dress, such a classic style that I could not find anywhere else but here!

According to the measurements table, I'm right between XSP and SP, so I was pleasantly surprised when XSP fits me like a glove! I'm especially in love with the quality of the fabric and the craftsmanship. I'll definitely be ordering again whenever a Gaala dress comes in petite sizing! :)
The dress is absolutely magical. The corset top is comfy and true to size. The sleeves are not too voluminous, and it makes a dress absolutely suitable for a pleasant evening walk, not only special events.

Love this dress— I literally got compliments wearing it out on the street! Sizing is fairly true to size— I’m 5’6 and 125 pounds, 34-27-38 and the small fits well. The only strange thing is the petticoat waist is much more snug than the dress waist. Petticoat waist fits my 27” perfectly, but the dress seems suited more towards a 28.5 ish waist. I’ll get an alteration to shrink the waist of the actual dress so it doesn’t bag. For those with broader waists relative to your size, the petticoat could be an issue and might be too tight. Overall, amazing dress!

Love, love, love this dress! The heart shaped chest area and the half sleeves were definitely what pulled me in to the look. Only thing is, wish it had a slight stretch to it, as I have broad shoulders because of my athletic background. But beautiful color, beautiful dress overall!

The most stunning dress! I originally got the XS petite size although had to exchange it for a small. The XS didn’t zip all the way up although fit everywhere else. The small zipped up although was loose in the chest area but I’m not busty at all. I plan to wear it with a corset belt which I’m very excited for. The material is quality linen and the style is classic. I love it so much!

The dress is wonderful! It fits like a second skin. I wore it to my wedding at the registry office and couldn't imagine anything better for the occasion. I especially loved twirling around in it. Especially then the dress looked fantastic.
First things first: I'm in love with my Bardetta dress! According to the online measurements, I'm right between M and S; I ordered S which fits me like a glove, given that I have a rather small bust. As you can see, I wore the Bardetta dress for my double Master's graduation ceremony in June 2024 and it was simply perfect: The linen kept me cool throughout the day and the petticoat added some lovely volume (pro tip: do a spin and you'll feel like a princess!). Apart from it being comfortable, it really caught the eye of my guests; I received a bunch of compliments and I felt so beautiful. It truly elevated the whole experience. I highly recommend this dress and have already placed more orders with Gaâla <3
Size S fit me like a glove. The fabric is absolutely amazing and I feel like a princess in it. The only tiny warning I have is that the dress is not super wearable for medium to larger breasted women. The neckline is very low, and if you’re not comfortable with that it could be an issue. Craftsmanship and quality is amazing though!
This is the perfect dress for a romantic at heart
The dress is wonderful and very elegant, though, you could wear it on normal occasions as well. I haven't given 5 stars because I have to bring it to the seamstress. After all, it was too long and too big on my shoulder. It was a bit expected because I’d already spoken with the Gaala’s personnel, who told me I should have sized down, but on the waist the dress is perfect, and I preferred to do it like that. I'm sad they don't offer personal adjustment anymore, however, I understand it is an intense job to satisfy everybody. That being said, I love the dress, the quality is top-notch and I’m always impressed by the politeness and availability received via email. Thank you.
I reached out to the company to ask for sizing help. I have 5'7 and 140lbs. I was thinking medium or large. I was advised for medium. The dress is so beautiful but so tight. I needed a large. This dress goes down to an XS and I have to ask for whom are we making these dresses? Women in the 1920s. I am pretty certain I am not overweight and always wear a medium I don't support "so called vanity sizing" but am also sure that for a brand to be sustainable sizing has to be reasonable. Maybe every one in France is petite and thin and that's okay but please tell your shoppers our dresses run small so size up. Much of the clothing waste is related to sizing issues and to combat this we have to get good at directing customers on how to size their item. The material and craftsmanship on the item is phenomenal and I am so sad to know that I will only be able to enjoy in so much as I never gain a pound and obviously aging indicates that this wont be the case.
I’m very short, 147cm (measurements 83/63/90 cm), and the size XSP was almost perfect for me, just a little bit long on the torso. The quality of the fabric and product was very good :) I returned the dress because the color was a bit yellowish and the length a bit short for a wedding dress, but nonetheless a good product.
