Made-to-order items ship to you within 3-5 weeks from the time your order is placed. A made-to-order item is a product that is not in stock, and that has not yet been produced.

It allows small brands like ours to gauge customer interest and consequent demand, eliminating overproduction and waste. When you preorder an article with us, you may have to wait a little longer for its delivery, but what you have to look forward to is a unique, made-to-order item crafted with love and attention, especially for you.

If you place an order that includes both a made-to-order item and an in stock item, we'll hold onto the in stock item and ship both items together when the made-to-order item is ready. This way, you'll only need to pay for shipping once, and we can reduce our environmental footprint by consolidating shipments. If you need an in stock item urgently, we recommend that you place a separate order.

Our washable ballet flats are crafted for easy maintenance and are perfect for busy schedules. Included with your purchase is a specially designed washing bag to protect and maintain their shape during the wash. Slip the inserts out of your shoes, place your flats and inserts inside the bag, and toss them in the washing machine with cold water and a gentle detergent; after washing, always air dry for best results.

Gaâla’s apparel is primarily crafted at our own workshop in Lithuania. Additionally, we partner with small-scale ateliers in Belarus, China and Italy, carefully considering the provenance of materials, production capabilities, and the expertise of artisans. We ensure all our partners uphold fair labor practices and that each piece meets the highest quality standards and respects those involved in its creation.
